United States Supreme Court

The United States Supreme Court heard oral arguments on Camreta v. Greene on March 1, 2011. It is would appear that the Court might vacate the opinion below due to mootness.

Eighteen amici for Respondents Greene filed a brief on their behalf.

It is hoped that the case will at least bring awareness of the lack of training of social services agencies across the country and their tendency to destroy or tear apart families without actually helping them.

  1. Child protective services are under a lot of fire these days. The Fogarty-Hardwick case was denied review in the United States Supreme Court on April 15, 2011. The County of Orange must now pay almost $10 million to Fogarty and her attorneys for wrongfully removing her children in 2001.
